Malaco is in the final assembly and mastering stages of the latest release from Shirley Brown and hopes to have it out early March. The album boasts 13 songs with some up to date songs and some "old school" songs that will ensure something for everyone. Co-Producer Frederick Knight helped lend a hand with a couple of his songs entitled "Upside Down" and "Let Me Relax You". Vick Allen also had a hand in producing the album and also has a few songs on the album. The late Rich Cason has a powerful and hypnotic track included that was one of his last songs he wrote before his untimely death. Shirley Brown herself penned a ballad titled "Why" which has received good reviews already.
Chief Engineer and co-producer Wolf Stephenson of Malaco feels this album to be one of Shirley's best yet due to the coalition of producers and "in house" input from all involved.
