Malaco Music Group enjoyed a successful year on the Billboard Nielsen SoundScan charts with The Caravans’ (Malaco Records) reunion album, Paved The Way, landing at #49 on the Top Gospel Charts; three artists’ singles made it to the Hot Gospel Songs year end charts: Maurette Brown-Clark’s (AIR Gospel) “One God” at #14, “You Keep On Blessing Me” by Luther Barnes & The Red Budd Gospel Choir (AIR Gospel) landed at #19, and The Caravans, “Remember Me” came in at #23. Malaco proper came in at #4 for label with hottest gospel songs, claiming eight titles on the charts and Hot Gospel Producers included Asaph Alexander Ward at #9 for his work with Maurette Brown-Clark and at #11, Luther Barnes for his work with the Red Budd Gospel Choir.

In 2007, Paved The Way (The Caravans, Malaco) peaked at #7 on the Top Gospel Albums Charts and The Caravans spent a good portion of the year touring and promoting their reunion release, appearing at award shows and enjoying Dove and Stellar Award nominations for their outstanding work in Gospel music. Maurette Brown-Clark is currently enjoying her runaway radio hit, "One God" with thirty-six weeks on the singles charts and sitting firmly in the #2 position. Luther Barnes recently released Christmas with Luther Barnes and still enjoys airply on his 2005 release, Somehow, Someway.
