Listen to a clip or purchase “Pull Your Pants Up.”

Whether you agree or disagree with the controversy centered on “Sagging-Pants”, it has unequivocally reached presidential proportions.

On this past Saturday, MTV News' Sway led an exclusive interview with Obama in Henderson, Nevada, just days before today’s Super Tuesday historic election armed with questions submitted by MTV viewers.

One viewer asked about lifestyle legislation like anti-sagging-pants ordinances, which have either been added to the books or are being considered in more than eight states.

Obama states, “…Brothers should pull up their pants. You're walking by your mother, your grandmother, and your underwear is showing. ... What's wrong with that? Come on.”

Watch the video clip or read the Obama interview in its entirety.

Dallas, TX, the first city to aggressively pursue the banning of the “Sagging–Pants” fashion trend with legislation, chose instead to purchased billboards around the city, advertised on the city transit systems using Malaco Records recording artist, Dooney “Da Priest” who penned the hit single “Pull Your Pants Up!” to challenge the individuals in their communities to pull their pants up on their own accord.
